Dear Ticket Defence Program partners, volunteers, clients, and supporters,
To comply with best practices in light of the escalating concerns regarding COVID-19, please note that TDP will be suspending its in-person meetings, drop-in and pop-up clinics until further notice.
We will do our best to ensure continued access to TDP services during this period. TDP volunteers will keep providing services on active files requiring immediate attention. We encourage our community partners to reach out to us on our website and/or [email protected] if individuals visit their services centre with an active ticket requiring attention and we will make sure to follow up with the person. If it is possible to photocopy or scan the tickets, you may send them to us by e-mail.
Any clients with a new ticket or inquiries regarding an ongoing matter may telephone us at 1-888-401-1579 and leave a voicemail with the best way to reach you. You may also call one of our lawyers at 1-613-858-1872, or e-mail us on our “Contact” page and/or [email protected].
We recognize that this may create disruption and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience. The Board of Directors will continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure the safety of our volunteers, students, partners and clients.
